Default How to replace the race wick on a Singer 66 and clean the bobbin area.

Today, I was reading someone's blog on cleaning out the lint in their Singer 66. That post reminded me of my tutorial on cleaning the bobbin area and replacing the race wick. If the race wick isn't seen, it is important to replace it with a new felt so that the wick can do its job of oiling the race. That aids in a smooth stitch and keeping the parts gliding nicely. Here is my tutorial:http://color-my-world-with-warmth.bl...k-on-66-1.html

Here is a photo of how the wick should look.

Hope that helps and have fun cleaning!
