I have always sworn that the singer 15 is my favorite machine ever, so much so in fact I have two. Just love them. However, been sewing on my little green Lucy, I just bought last month, she is a little 99k and oh what a beauty. she is my favorite now. so My dh asked me if I sew on the 301's that i bought last year? gee, haven't really touched them,so I got one out and wow I can't stop sewing.! this is my favorite! Now, they are all my favorite!!!! Just love the vintage machines!

Yep, you understand it. It is fun, so relaxing! I am so addicted. I have an old treadle too and I keep telling myself I don't want a featherweight. I think if the right one came my way I might be tempted and then I would have another favorite! A tangle web I tell ya.

I can't pick a favorite. How can anyone pick a favorite? It's like asking me which of my kids is my favorite. They are all different and I love them for their individual uniqueness..... All the machines are unique in their own way, too. They are all my favorite!!

My current favorite is the Pfaff 60 treadle straight stitch, its a lovely machine. So quiet and smooth running. Next year it might be the Singers 15-90,201,237 or 66-1. I also have Singers 221 and 301, all are lovely machines that sew great.
For sewing folded corners on quilt blocks I prefer a straight stitch machine with the original foot(I'm doing those now).
I've got several different brands of machines all of them have their quirks and different uses. I have a newer Viking with all the bells and whistles, I'd rather use one of the vintage machines. She sulks when I neglect her.
