very interesting! Love the handpainting on the ones shown...someday we will get one that needs refinishing and I can practice my artistic skills on it. (I am a fine artist by profession)

Thanks Charlee. That was a very interesting article. I would love to see his sewing machine collection. And, I would bring a bucket and a lot of hand towels because I think I would be drooling like Pavlov's dogs.

Thanks Charlee for that article. His machines are magnificent. Incredible works of art besides being functional. I think that's what draws me to them. Charlee, you are an inspiration yourself, always full of important information & so willing to share. I thank you for myself & for all the members of this board who learn from your knowledge.

Btw- that was a fun article. Even sent it dh who at this moment is in the man cave working on resuscitating a very gunked up, neglected, scarred, but free machine. ( He's using it as a learning tool. Past, I think HE has the bug :-)
