Default Kenmore Model 49 - is it worth keeping?

I just picked up a Kenmore model 49 at an auction for practically nothing, thinking I would sell it. I haven't played with it yet, but I think I've fallen in love with it! It has a 9" harp, and its super heavy duty, all metal and has really great lines. As long as it works, I might have to keep it. Who has one and how much do you love it or hate it?

Rose,

I have a Kenmore 120-491. The last numeral is a model variant. It's a 49 actually. But by your description it's not the machine you have.
If you like it, and it works for you by all means keep it. We all change our minds about things.

PS, please post a pic of your 49.
