I was so happy to see this thread this morning! I have a 1703 that I got at the SA a couple of months ago for $25.00; it had the case, foot controller, and plastic Q foot but nothing else.

After scouring eBay and the rest of the internet I managed to find the cams, the buttonholer, and I think, just about all of the super high shank feet that were made (multiples of some of them.) The only thing that I didn't have was the monogrammer, because I didn't know which one it took.

I did a search on eBay and found one, along with the cams (which I don't need - if anybody wants them, PM me ), in "like new" condition. It looks like the monogrammer's still wrapped in plastic/cellophane. :-) I think I now have everything that I could possibly have for it. I call her Ava the Diva, because she has more accessories than any girl has a right to. ;-)

It's a great machine - I made a pair of shorts for my son the other day and it sews beautifully. The only thing wrong with it is the reverse stitches (stretch stitches and double cam designs) don't work, and from what I've read, it's a common problem. She's going into the shop soon, so hopefully they'll be able to fix it.

Can hardly wait to play with the monogrammer!

The monogrammer I have fits on my 158-17570. It should fit on all the machines of that series that use the same vertical front loading bobbin design.
