Lada model 123, made in Czech
My son lived in Germany and The Czech Republic for many years. He told me about the old treadle sewing machine that was up in the attic of the house he purchased there. He is back in Czech visiting and is bringing back the Lada for me. Depending on the cost it may only be the sewing machine head but I don't care. He has sent me a lot of pictures. Posted here a few pics. The bobbin case and the race appears to be cloned from the Singer 15. Other than a quite a bit of rust and dirt I think it should clean up OK.

Lada update. My son told me via Email that he has dissabled the cabinet and treadle and will be shipping it. Also did anyone else notice the water hose in the background of the picture I posted? And the water drops on the machine head? Horrors, did my son give that sewing machine get shower? LOL

Uh-oh! It sure looks like water sprinkles on the machine and cabinet. Yikes! Hopefully he has wiped it dry quickly but if he hosed it down, who knows what is still wet/damp. I hope it all turns out okay for you and at least he was thinking of you and willing to send the whole piece.
