Oh and for a long while I thought mine had no zigzag. Not until I went to use one of the cams and it did not fit did I realize the zig zag was in the cam box. It did not look like the others. As I was studying why cam would not fit I saw "zigzag" on what I thought was the base for cams to go on! Duh!

Oh i have a similar wards machine with the orange side! I got it as part of a 2 for 1-ish deal from a yard sale. LOL Basically if I could haul it away along with another machine it was free. I felt guilty so i bought a book too that was $.75. The other machine i got in the deal was a Good Housekeeping one. That one i need to find cams for. You have a lovely machine.

I wish there was a big swap just with cams. I need some for a White 606. I've bought cams for it and they did not fit. The inside is not straight - well at least I don't think so... I wish there was some way to know what cams fit what machines. I have orphans and no idea what they fit.

maybe we could make a piece of masonite, put holes in and numbers next to the holes. If you have a cam, pop it in the hole, add your name and address to a traveler showing any make and model info. Course you wouldnt want to risk valuable ones, but if you wouldnt miss it... or maybe stick it on a scanner and we pool it in a file somewhere?

i will add that my Deluxe Princess decided to unlatch my tailgate and head off on its own. after work i retrieved it, actually was still pretty good shape, but many of the set of cams which Miriam sent me, got run over, so now they are orphans! :-(

Oh, no, so sorry. I haven't had a sewing machine escape like that but have had it happen with a washer, some dresser drawers, a big stainless steel grill and my youngest DD. All at different times.

I saw a piano do a cartwheel off a truck one time. It was the funniest thing I ever saw/heard... it was the whole orchestra all at once... Tooth picks all over the curb. The truck turned a corner and the piano didn't. Someone loaded it up and didn't tie it down. I didn't know it until I got home but it was my piano... Mom gave it away while I was out riding my bike. Lucky for me I was on the other corner.

Now that's just funny!
Worst I saw was a sheet of plywood sail about 40 ft up in the air before it came down. It was on 405 on the east side several years ago. I don't know how it managed to not hit any cars on the way down.
Always secure your load. One sudden stop or sharp corner is all it takes.
I don't have much to contribute in the way of cams. Just some Singer tophats for Touch & Sews.
I think I'll start the thread anyway.

Wow, that would've been something to see. The expensive grill bouncing down the highway would have been funny if it had not been mine.
