Default My Craigslist purchase today

The ad was for a Singer 600e in a cabinet for $45. I fell in love with the cabinet, and figured it was worth $45 even if I had to drive 2 hours to get it! Turns out, it is cherry and very, very heavy. The drawers are full of sewing goodies that the girl admitted she hadn't even looked at. It is still in the back of my van, and I can't wait to peruse the drawers. They excite me more than the machine! LOL The box of attachments is there, for sure, along with the manual. I'm pretty happy, and praying my 401a fits in this cabinet!

Even if it didn't fit I would put a board across the top and use it any way! It's gorgeous!

I will post pictures of the drawer contents. I have found the neatest stuff tucked away in sewing machines

This is the exact machine that I bought with my babysitting money when I was fifteen. My SIL is still using it. The cabinet looks great and they definitely are not made like this any more. Happy stitching.
