Default My FW case doesn't look like anybody else's

So I was googling FW cases and how to refurbish them and mine looks significantly different than the black one's I see. It has no fabric in it at all. It's a small green box with a green and white hinged lid with a white handle. It looks like a make up case or a carry on from the 70s. I'll try to remember to take a pic when I get home. Does anyone off hand know what kind of case this is? It really resembles luggage.

I thought that was the case that was pretty standard with the white/celery machine. Google white featherweight and see if that helps.

Yes, it`s the one for the white/celery machine. I would love to have one like this; if you prefer a black one, we can exchange

My aunt has the sister to this FW and her's is white/celery. I wonder if the sisters traded cases? My mom never cared for black on anything but her sewing machine.

Sounds exactly like what may have happened. If it's important to you, would she be willing to trade back?

The green and white case is for the celery FW and doesn't have fabric. It actually does look like a makeup case. Some of the black FW cases have fabric and some don't. I have all 3 cases.

Green is my favorite color, so I'm keeping it, but it looks like the bottom could fall apart. I'll take some pictures and see what I can find out. I'd like to restore the case along with the machine, if that's possible. My aunt doesn't have the white/celery machine anymore apparently. I just talked to her and she said that machine "went bad" in the 80's. I can only imagine what happened to it. She bought a tan fw at a garage sale so she still has one, but doesn't have the one she used to. She says the black case matches her FW better than the green one would have. My mom would have gotten such a hoot out of that. I'm sure she had to beg in the first place to trade cause she HATED black.

That looks like the cases that came with White coloured FWs.
