I have one just like that and it is a work horse and just great for piecing. I picked mine up at a garage sale. An older lady was going into the nursing home and selling all her quilting and other stuff.

I have a black Spartan from an auction about 20 years ago for $20. and would never part with it. I also have a green one I bought on eBay about a year ago. And Bonnie Hunter, there is no one like her and her quilt cam. She says you can sew along with her, but I am so fascinated watching her and learning from her, I forget to sew! She taught our guild the Spiderweb pattern a few years back and collected all the "crumbs" that we were all going to throw away after cutting our pieces, so she could use them in quilts! What ambition and frugality! Love her.....
