I don't really have room for another SM that is in a cabinet but while I was poking around in the thrift shop, today, I couldn't pass this one up!! It is an 1892 Singer VS3/28-18 with the most beautiful decals that I've ever seen. I don't really know much about this model but it is in wonderful shape, cosmetically, and I will have to see if any of it's main parts are missing.

After searching around to see what the decals were called I found that they are called "Orange Blossom, Dogwood" and they were on the machines from 1892 through 1894.

Not sure if this tensioner is all there

I'm also not sure if something belongs on this little tab thingy in the front

Does anyone know if this motor was added later and if I can convert it to a treadle

The only thing that makes me sick to my stomach is the electric motor was added and they changed the bobbin winder and the belt guard.

That was one of my questions. I would like to change it back over to a treadle. I have a couple of treadle cabinets that I could put it in!!
