It was just a guess on my part looking at pictures of other Nelco machines. The styles I saw looked like Japanese machines to me. They could very well have been imported from Taiwan/China/ elsewhere in general.

I have always wondered about Nelco machines, they have always looked interesting. I thought this was a vintage machine list so it didn't matter what/where they were made for us to discuss them.

Don't count out all Taiwan made machines. There have been (and still are) some very good machines coming out of Taiwan.
