Nelco 210
Hi, All! I'm new to this group, and I'm amazed at the incredible amount of information being exchanged! I've got an extensive sewing background; costume major at the University of Cincinnati, alterations business for 24 years, quilting, and all other kinds of sewing, both by hand and machine. The vast majority of my sewing machines are pre-1940 Singers, two Singer treadles, and two White sergers. Here's my question. My son, knowing my fondness for older machines, brought a Nelco home, and I confess that I don't know anything about them, except that this one is all metal and sews great! Where would I find parts and/or a manual? If you have any experience with this machine, I'd love to hear it. Thanks in advance, and now, back to sewing..!

I Google for information. The vintage experts on the board will be able to help you soon and if they've seen your post are probably already working on the links. By the way, welcome to the board!! We will appreciate any tips and tricks you have to share!

Welcome!
SewUSA.com has Nelco manuals but I didn't see an exact match. They may have one similar enough to work though. I want to say Nelcos are Japanese made machines. There's a strong chance the same basic machine was sold under other names too.
