Not sure about this machine.
I was going to buy a band new machine but was told that I should start off with a used one before spending a few hundred. I was searching online and came across this,

I wrote the lady and she told me the model number is 613, I can't ind much information about it on the Internet.
Any thoughts? Would it be okay for a beginner, also I forgot to ask if it still had the manual.

I don't know anything about that particular machine, but it looks in good (clean) condition, as does the table. The ad say's it's all metal parts ... hopefully that includes the gears. The price is certainly right!
Take some fabric pieces and thread with you, ask her if she has a needle, if not get the needle size and bring one. Test the machine out - straight stitch, reverse, and zig-zag. If it sews correctly, I'd get it.

Just so you are aware, this is not a Husqavarna Viking. It's a 15 clone like the other 15 clones, and they put all sorts of names on them to get buyers to think it might be something a bit different.
Which in some ways makes it a better beginner machine, as far as getting them up and running.

I agree with the suggestion for new sewists to start with a used machine before spending lots of money on a new machine. Your needs may change once you start sewing and you can then spend the big money on what you really want. If the machine operates smoothly, the tension is good, it looks like the machine would work for what you need.
