I'm not really into vintage machines: love to look at them, but if I saw that some place for $70, I'd be tempted. The machine would have to work though, definitely not into overhauling. I do find it fascinating to look and read what people have found/done. Is this the early stage of vintage sewing machine addiction?

We're getting it and a couple of other machines today when she gets to our shop but I'm not sure when it will be or what machines they are just that 2 are Pfaff's and DH will call me when he gets them bought. I can't wait I'm so excited!

I paid 30.00 for mine like that. I guess it depends on if you want it for yourself to sew with or for your collection or to turn it over and try to make a profit. The most I have paid for a machine because I really wanted it for myself was $350.00

I'll post pictures tomorrow but we ended up getting the one in the cabinet I mentioned but it looks different than the one in the pics I posted and 2 others in tables for 90 dollars. We have a Pfaff 76, a Pfaff 78 and a Singer 223. The 76 is the one in the unique cabinet.
