Hi,

Went for a 30 mi ride yesterday evening and picked up my newest Davis, "Edison" which was listed on Craigslist. Good shape except for the cracked pot metal motor housing. The serial number 4601337 is the largest Davis number I've come across so I suspect it was made close to Davis bankruptcy in 1924

Me too. Found a spare motor also so I'll keep Edison close to original.
