Default Paff 130-6 in cabinet

Hubby bought this Paff 130-6 at auction yesterday. Ebay values are pretty high...wondering what folks would pay for a machine like this? I'm probably keeping it...if it sews as well as the auctioneer said, I'll keep it. I'll have to sell a blonde cabinet to make room...but this one is beautiful! Going to play with it some today. The center is a chair that pulls out. The chair has two drawers for storage. Yep, may have to keep this one (lol...I keep a lot of the machines we get in).

Love the Cabinet.

I've got 3 Pfaff 130 machines, one with the coffee grinder on it.

Paid $65 for one in a smaller cabinet that has the same chair but does not have the two side drawer stacks.

Paid $27 for the one with the coffee grinder- had a blown motor. Sews really nice with a replacement. Came in a case, but not really suitable as a "portable" as it outweighs the Singers.

And paid $10 for another 130 - just the machine, because it had the funny spool holder on top and my other machine was missing it.

They do often sell for decent prices on eBay- provided everything is there, they are serviced and the drive belt has been checked out to be in good condition.

Love the cabinet and the machine. Yeppers, I'd be keeping her too.

What a wonderful buy! I have my mother's Pfaff 130-6, but no cabinet.

I got the same cabinet and Pfaff 130 for $45. I will need to rewire the motor, though. I love the cabinet, and hope to love the 130.

What a beauty. I can see how this one could follow you home.

That is a really good buy. A beautiful cabinet and machine. No way would I sell it. (I don't have any more wall space in my house - so much for open concept.) Here in the NE it would go much higher.

Marge,

My "go to" machine is a Pfaff 130. I recently had to replace the motor. If you try yours out and the motor is shot, let me know. I learned a few things from the motor replacement experience. Also, I live in Lubbock and bought both the motor and free advice here.
