Default Pfaff 30 Treadle

Turning to the experts for information. I have a Pfaff 30 treadle machine that I just finally got dug out of my garage after moving over a year ago. I was going to get rid of it but don't really want to so if I can find some space in the house, I will move it in there. It does not deserve to be in the garage? Anyway, nothing came with it so I would love to find a "manual" of some sort for it (In English would be nice!) so I know how to thread it correctly, what needles it takes, bobbin size, and any other info. that might be important ..... even though this is a simple machine. I am still surfing the internet to see what I can find but you guys are always so knowledgeable about machines and where to find stuff that I figured I would ask here also.

Thanks if you can supply any info.

NapaJohn, Thank you so much for that link. I did find a place that I could order a black and white copy but it would have cost me $10.00 plus $6.25 shipping. So glad I checked the QB first. Thanks again!

Now to look for feet.

Speaking of feet ..... I read somewhere that standard Singer feet will fit this machine. Anyone know for sure? Well, yes I guess I could try some of my Singer feet on the machine. Thanks for that idea! hahaha

You're welcome. Yes, any low shank standard feet should fit it, including low shank center needle position buttonholers. I'm not sure if your feed dogs drop, so you might have to use the cover plate to use the buttonholer.

So apparently I am missing the numbered tension dial on this machine also. Darn! Guess I will be searching the internet again although I think this item may be hard to find.

NapaJohn, looks like I do have a "button" for dropping the feed dogs but I just gave it a quick try and it did not budge. Have not oiled this machine yet so that may help this problem, hopefully. Still, I really like the machine already and apparently so do others according to some machine sites.
