I have been given a Phaff 78 and can't seem to find out how old it is. I'm thinking the late 60's. Does anyone happen to have a list, or can direct me to a list of serial numbers that shows manufacture date for the Phaff machines?

I looked in the owner's manual of mine but no date. Maybe 1978? I wish I knew, too. Here is a pic of mine. It is a simple well made machine.

Well that kind of makes sense - I got the machine from my sister-in-law, and she thinks she bought it new around 1972
