I have a friend with a 100-year old Pfaff. It has a pincushion built into the drawer, very much like the one you showed. Very nifty.

I've filed that one away for future reference as a lathe project.
It seems that I never have good storage next to the machine.

I must be going blind as a bat--I looked through all the pics three times before I found that pin cushion. And I think I have one like that out in my sewing room; I am always finding good stuff like that in machines that I buy at auction.
