Default Positively My Last Machine, Maybe!!!!!

I found this New Home on CL for $30 and since I did not have a New Home/Janome machine I just had to buy it. My sister had one like this and that is another reason for this purchase. However, I have made a New Year's resolution that I will not buy any sewing machines in 2015 as this probably makes #55 or thereabouts, I have totally lost count, and that is plenty. Now we will see if I can stick to that. Anyway, here are some pictures of this LAST purchase, made on December 30, 2014. The machine looks to be in very good condition except it needs some major cleaning and oiling. I think the bad spots on the undercarriage is dried on oil and grease. I don't believe it is rust. It is not a left homing machine which I am very glad of. I think she will sparkle when she is all cleaned up.

Looks like a nice clean one-and it has some cool accessories. I think you did pretty good!

Sewing machines are like potato chips-there's always room for one more.

Where in the world do you have room to store so many? I have my mom's 1949 Singer treadle, but that is all for me! I would have to build an addition to our home if I had that many. Congratulations to you, however, for rescuing that number.

Blackberry,

55? You've lost count? Well, hmmmm, since you lost count you don't really so know how many you have right?
So then, why does it matter if you get more?

I have no clue how many I have. I'd probably be surprised if I ever put them all in one place. Maybe that's why I don't.

That's a nice looking Janome New Home. I like the color.

Several of them are stored at my son's house with a large storage room and several are in our downstairs family room. Most of them are in carrying cases as opposed to cabinets so they take up much less room.
