Your cabinet looks just like the one I have! And your stool too, just a different color on the seat. Mine is a 1950 model, according to my aunt when she gave it to me.

I love your sewing room! :-D

Very nice! I think I saw that on ebay when I was looking.
I just bought a 1946 Singer 201-2 to put in Mom's old cabinet that I now have. I learned to sew on her 201-2 & decided to restore the cabinet to its former glory, or I'd have purchased a 301 - actually like them a lot - congrats!

Wonderful. Love your room, too. Did they ship the cabinet as well?

Congratulations - I know you will love the 301. I have 4 of them. I purchased my black, long bed 301 in 1955 in Pensacola, FL - clothed 4 children and myself. Only maintenance that cost was the rubber circle for the bobbin winder. Oh and of course, bulbs. I piece all my quilt tops on the 301 - almost a perfect 1/4" seam. I could go on and on about what a great machine it is but don't want to bore everyone.:)

she's a beauty and looks like new, she must not have been used very much. Such a good find!

Bore? I don't think you'd bore anyone, just make us all envious. I so want one or a featherweight.
