I sort of like the odd balls! This is a New Willard. There is not much information on the Internet regarding this machine. Decals are in nice shape. The last patent date is August 10, 1920 on the front slide plate. She came with a bullet shuttle and bobbin.

Nice machine! Now to get her shining.....!!

OK, you will report back how many gallons of oil and bags of cotton balls and gallons of Evapo-Rust you use .......
.....right?

That machine is a task I'd take on. Do you have the treadle base for it too, or just the machine?

Aye, Aye, Sarge. Will report on all materials used! It will be oil and cotton pads all the way on this one. The finishes are not the same quality as Singers. Nope, it did not come in a cabinet, but I have a couple that it may fit in. Just need to find some hinges for it.

Caroline,

I like the odd balls too. But part of my enjoyment is sewing with them. So I have to get them to that stage before I'm really happy.

I've got a New Willard in a Franklin parlor cabinet-it was my first treadle. New Willards are a badged Domestic, based on the Singer 27. (27 shuttle/bobbins will work in them, too.) Yours has the more typical pansy decals, mine has funky seahorse-looking things on it. Yours will be gorgeous when it's cleaned up! Nice find!

Mrs Boats, your machine is gorgeous!
