OK, rip it apart...

I want to sell my singer 15 clone and get a Singer 301.
I picked this price out of the air

I think the box kills the sale, what to you think?

Give it to me straight, but outside the Wow I Got This For $7.50 mentality please :)

Nice unit, but this belongs in the "what are they smoking thread".

Why not research what people will pay by searching closed auctions on ebay or watching your local CL?

Honestly $50 to $100 is a fair price for a Singer 15 clone in decent shape to me. Under $50 for a good one is getting into bargain territory. The decorations aren't my cup of tea and I wouldn't pay the additional $ for them.

Thanks guys, I'll go monkey with the price.

Another thing, since the cabinet is not included, take the machine of of it and put it in the case it goes in. I've found that putting anything in the pics that doesn't go with the article for sale just confuses the issue.

Nice blue machine, but the sequins ( or what ever they are ) are a deal breaker for me. The price is ..... way out of reason.

For here it would be overpriced but I live in a lower end market. It's a very sharp machine and certainly should sell for more than $7.50. I think it's unlikely you will get a 301's worth out of it. They sell for more dollars then 15 clones.

The customizing will deter some but I bet you end up selling it because of it. :D I like it.

I'm with Anastasia and like it too. Someone (or their children) have spiffed it up nicely. In Australia you wouldn't get anywhere near $150 for it (you might get close if it were an actual Singer 15 with decals) but someone will definitely want it because it's in great condition.

I love that machine!
so pretty! ive been eying this one close to me http://daytona.craigslist.org/atq/4414363205.html
its $85 with the cabinet your look slike it might be in better shape though ,
Id start it @ 125 see if you get any action on it you never know you might . then lower it or take best offer . cant hurt to try right ?

there is a singer 301 for $95 on craigslist here too . do you have one you are looking at ?

Around here, you can buy unadorned Singer 15s, usually in a cabinet, for less than $125.

I wouldn't pay more than $50 for a 15 clone, and even less for one that had been Bedazzlered.

Of course, the prices may differ in your area.
