Fifi has found a good home. Very nice find.

I'm sure Fifi appreciates you rescuing her. She will be purring once you get her cleaned up. I have a Pfaff 130 and would not give it up. His name is Zeus; he received some good loving at Zeus Machines. Great machines. Oh! Do not ever do bobbin work with her, which is when you might put a furry or unusual thread in the bobbin and sew from the back. Ask me how I know.
Zeus Machines is EXCELLENT! They have a web site. |
Bought mine at a yard sale for $7.00. I got the book downloaded onto disc free from the internet. There is only 1 presser foot with her but there is 1 bobbin and the bobbin case. She is in a nice cabinet with a matching chair. Sews like she knows what she's doing!!! Great machine!

I have a Pfaff 130 that belonged to my grandmother and it still sews like a dream. I have had to replace the feed dogs, the motor and the foot control. My Pfaff dealer ordered a 1/4" foot for me, that was about 15 years ago and cost around $45.00. Was well worth the money because I did not like putting tape down to mark my seam allowance. Have fun with Fifi!

That is actually a quilted trivet with a 6" ceramic tile inside. The pattern is from Pieceful Designs called Hot Spot. The block is a Grecian Square and I believe it's also called a Monkey Wrench. I made several for Christmas. I like that you can change them for the seasons.
