OI! NIB... sure. That's what the pic says too. *head slap* http://edmonton.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-...AdIdZ494881701 The pics make this one. The price is whacked out, but the pic of the accessories sure makes you look twice at the machine... I do like the little chest though. |

He seemed a lot happier when he left. He knew he botched it. My sister was there, too - she kept telling him things he needed to hear. I hope he at least makes different mistakes. I'm betting he got that machine because his wife won't let him touch hers. LOL.

I'm not sure what it's for, but I love the exposed gears and the metalwork on the "flywheel". It's not a central bobbin (round) style either by the look of it, I think that's a shuttle in the last pic?? I bet you know when it runs! :) It -is- an old one, possibly worth close to asking for the right buyer... who's unfortunately not me. ;)
Wheel feed, vibrating presser. Large reciprocating shuttle. For carriage trimmings, making heavy cushions, including edge cording etc, and general work in coarse fabrics. Industrial treadle or power table. Gear driven. Speed 700. No. 9 shuttle."

Here is another link regarding the Singer 3-1 http://targoclinic.com/ . They have one for sale for $2600 Australian. For a real collector perhaps the $600 price tag would not be too much. |
