can anybody ID the model?

I can't, but $250 for something they know nothing about, and may not work? They really are dreamin' down there in TX.

At least wipe it down, take multiple pictures, and make up a good story that involves grandma.

It looks like a Singer 15 but it has a black nose plate - I see add on stuff - I think it was set up on a knee lift for the pressure foot - The pressure foot is a bit odd. I wonder if it was some kind of industrial application. Maybe a machine modified for a task - then the operator would just do what ever it was set up to do. That hand wheel is to kill for... I looked at Ismacs at a 31 and I'm thinking that is an industrial machine. It would be a real nice machine once it is cleaned up and any broken parts replaced/repaired. It is bit beefier than a Singer 15 - the thread guide is much more secure, too. If that machine were to cross my path I would go for it. I have had dirtier machines clean up fine. I don't think I would want to pay that much for it though - not with out the table and motor. With the table and motor it would be a steal.

That's a walking foot model. I cannot ID the model, but have seen them in other places.

It could be a walking foot - but no telling until you get a good look at the front. Somebody is a bit optimistic on the price of that one.

I sent one, too. Told them to ask $50 and they might sell it.

A 15 possibly just based upon the tension location. I do not know though and agree with Mark's suggestions.

Other 16s look quite similar, but they all have that pivoted lever going through the base.

I agree. It's a Singer 16 model. Probably one of the later models. There were quite a number of variations, but the common trait was the lever on the rear operated by a rod through the base. I think😳.:o
