Crossstitcher,
I'm sorry that your DH's family waited until the machine was in such poor condition to let him have it. Sharon |
I was at a charity quilt sew-in with my guild today and the Featherweights were well represented. There were 8 of them, 6 were black,1 white and 1 tan(mine). I should have asked everyone to put them all on one table so they could be photographed.

Thanks Glenn for the info on refinishing a machine. I've told all of my friends that I'm looking for a 'boat anchor' machine so I can see what I can do with it. If I get one in that kind of condition, I can't do too much wrong with it, but still have one to practice on. My FWs and 99 are in too good of condition to mess with.

Hi Trish,
Here's a manual for the "Burdick" the predecessor of the Minnesota B. Similar but different in areas. http://www.sil.si.edu/DigitalCollect...f/sil10-37.pdf Jon Jon, My husband said to tell you many thanks for the manual. Now if he can find a foot he will get it working I'm sure. |
