Pretty machine, Charlee. I haven't been online much since breaking my arm but it's good to see your post. I hope you are doing better.

nanna-up-north! How did you break your arm?? Are you ok now?

I am doing better as long as I remember to take the pills I'm supposed to take now...hard for me, I not only hate taking pills, but I've never had to take pills before! I know that sounds lame, and I do try to remember...

Cathy...I have a place for you ANYTIME!! C'mon!! :)

I am quite jealous. Is that a beast like my Pfaff 130?

I think everyone that can appreciate art as well as sewing machines has to be at least a little envious. The condition is absolutely fantastic! The detail everywhere on it, even the legs is impressive to say the least. Love it! ~G~

I don't know that machine at all - I think I might have one but haven't gotten to it yet. I'm thinking I have one with a bobbin like that somewhere.

Last night I took off every bit of that assembly I could, looking for a burr! What I found got smoothed down. That assembly is clean, clean! The threading path is correct and away from me the handwheel rolls. My next step with be to sand down that latch's edge.

So frustrating! A dear friend found this for me and now that it is cleaned up, it is SO quiet. All except for the cursing that happens when I try to sew!! :o

It's about the same size as a Singer 201...my understanding is that this machine is a larger version of the family model...but it's not what I would consider huge...

Hint for pills Charlee. Get a weekly pill box. It has compartments for each day. I bought my mother one because she has to take so much medication three times a day. Then I bought myself one because I would forget to take my BP meds and vitamins :hunf:. I hate taking pills also. Having both the pill containers on the kitchen counter reminds me that I have to take my pills also. No little kiddies around here so there is no danger.

Love your new Pfaff by the way. Very nice present.

Perhaps I can bring my WFR head over to help troubleshoot the problem. We would have to turn the handwheel manually to stitch cause I removed the motor a long time ago. Yeah folks, Redbug and I live about 7 miles from each other and thanks to the QB are very, very good friends.
