Default Late 1870's white sewing machine

I was in Redhouse Antique Mall in Redhouse, Md and found a late 1870's white sewing machine for sale for about $100.00. The cabinet is in good condition along with the machine. I could find no numbers on it. Found patent dates from 1872 to 1877 stamped on needle plate behind the needle. The wheel turns easily. The manuel is in pieces, but it is in one of the drawers. Is it worth the wrath of DH to get it, or should I turn a (gulp) blind eye to her? Sorry no pics.

For $100 I would risk it. Especially if it is calling to you. Just tell your DH that the sewing machine is haunting you in your sleep and it would be good for your mental health to bring her home. All I get around here any more is a big roll of the eyes when a new girl joins the group.
