I can not help you with any information on your machine but I just want to say that she's a beauty. Lucky you!

I'm sure that's the oldest White I've seen! Great find.

the serial number should be on the rear slide plate -

I agree - a very early VS2 ( VS 2nd edition) that round bobbin winder is rather unique.

It should take the same shuttle and needles as other White VS machines - the hollow bobbins and the shuttle with the pin in, and rather long needles.

You can easily convert this to take top clamp feet - just get the top clamp unit that fits white and slip it on the pressure bar and tighten it up.

Based on the pictures on Needlebar - It will thread from the spool pin, around the little circle guide in the upper right corner of the side face, then down around the tension, back up to the uptake lever on the front face of the machine, then down to the guide right above the needle and then through the needle.

The bobbin winder unit is sort of a full circle, instead of the u shaped most are - like you can easily see in the picture SteveH posted -

To the OP - looks like you've got most of the early set of attachments - they are bed mount instead of foot mount. I don't know if that makes them easier or harder to use. Your tucker is in a few peices though, you'll need to put it back together.

That part right above the shuttle is the shirr plate that attaches to the ruffler when you are using it that way. You take that off when using the shirr plate that is attached to the slide. You have a slide with an underbraider (near the long part of the tucker) but it's not for this machine.

you should be able to use the Greist attachments for White that have the rounded bar holder without needing the top clamp -clamp. With the set of attachments you have, there may not be any reason to get that.

I've been collection oddball feet, and have several different styles of ones that fit White - but even more that fit New Home.

These are most likely Johnston attachments - you may be able to read that on the tucker.
