Quilts made using vintage machines!
#1741
Haven't been on the board for a long time. I was recovering from a Thyroid Cancer operation. But, tried to stay busy. Here is a quilt I made for our grandson with a cross stitched Coat of Arms in his name. The next one is for a friend of ours and just used left over material from grandson's quilt. Both are hand quilted. First quilt was made on 1951 30l machine. Second was made on a 319 machine.

And when my Newly purchased treadle is running I'll start sewing on her and share. Actually I sew on a 401A and 600 Singer all the time. I do have a small Janome I bought due to being light weight and easy to carry. BUT once I got a rolling case. my good old machines go sewing with me.

Thank you! The print fabrics were a Moda jelly roll, Glamping.
I was mistaken about my treadle, it's actually a 27. Fantastic for quilting. This is my first quilt on that machine and I know there will be many more. I'm not scared of quilting larger quilts anymore. The 27 can do anything. I'm going to practice fmq one day soon too.
