I do all of my piecing on my Singer Featherweight 221. I use it every day. I also do FMQ of small objects with my 1951 Featherweight. I use it for everything.

I just finished piecing a Smokey Mountain Stars top, still needs borders. I used 30s repros. The free pattern can be found on www.quiltville.com. I pieced it with my 1955 Pfaff model 60 treadle.

Candid shot of Pfaff 1222 making a dog-themed lap quilt. Found it at G'will for 29.99. The local shop wanted $380 to fix it but could not identify one part that it needed. I applied Liquid Wrench & the hot hairdryer treatment. Everything works now. My first attempt at rehabbing a machine. Now addicted like many of you! PS another Pfaff 875 behind this one, under the floral cover. Plus a Pfaff 230 in the "clinic" aka my garage.

@ Mrs Finch: Love the dog fabric lap quilt. I have enough cat fabric to make several lap quilts like that. Thanks for showing us your work and machines.

Love your dog fabric. I've been collecting cat fabrics to make a quilted jacket for my DSIL but I really like the dogs better. Cute quilt. and good job getting your machine up and running.

This is so beautiful. I would love to make it. Is there a pattern? Thank you. I have 2 Singer Featherweights which I just adore. I'm old now, but I wish I had collected these machines when I was young.
