I have the black cast iron version - Wilbur 'helped' me break the whole bobbin area... I told him to rock the wheel while I oiled - he gave a really good yank and parts broke and flew everywhere. Next time he gets to oil.

The cast iron ones are relatively common. The bronze ones aren't. I would very much like a bronze one but would be happy with either. I'm really developing a fondness for the old Whites.
I don't know if the bronze ones were just an option of if they were a commemorative model. Any White experts know anything more about these machines?
