I knew a home ec teacher who had every class oil the machines then use rags for excess. That was 3 classes a day 5 days aweek. Each class had a scheduled day to maintain/oil and lube the machine. She got to keep a couple when they discontinued the classes. Said it was the biggest messes because they didn't get all the lint out. Not sure what models and brands she had but they varied.
