Vic,
One more "important" thing. The 319 uses the semi-obosolete 206-13 needle. It's similar to the 15x1, but shorter from the point to the eye. This is important because the longer 15x1 can eat up the bobbin case. These needles are getting harder to find, but are still out there.

Here's a couple sources:
{ http://www.shop.sew-classic.com/ }
{ http://www.allbrands.com/productsear...r_by=relevance }
If you'll Google sewing machine needles and or Singer 206x13 you should find a few more.

I'm only interested in machines that take 15x1 needles since I use the machines, and I don't feel like hunting for the correct needles. But, that machine is way cool looking with its keys! I believe Nancy has a machine like that, which she has used. If you do get that machine and run into problems with the machine, Nancy or Cathy can help you. I wish you luck on getting the machine.

Yeah, me too, with the CL ads that don't have a phone number listed. I watched one for three or four days recently, then finally gave up; and now my daughter says she thinks my computer has been hacked. Buyer beware. Or interested buyer beware.....
