Singer 338 Attachments
Found these attachments at a little thrift store yesterday. Does that mean I have to find a Singer 338 to match the attachments?

Caroline,
I got my 338 first, then found the same goodie box. Made the ensemble complete. The 338 is an all metal ZZ machine that must have the ZZ cam in it to do the ZZ stitch. But with over 30 flat cams available you can do alllllllll sorts of decorative stitches.
Oh, and as with all of Singers all metal ZZ machines, it loves Tri-Flow.
Ours is in the way, but I refuse to get rid of it. Least wise not yet.

I'm pretty sure the 338 is a low shank machine which means you can use the feet on other low shanks. Other machines take the flat cams but I'm not sure which ones. The throat plate and lifter may also fit the 348, not sure which others.

Real cheap????? How about ...... oh wait don't tell anybody, it's our secret ...... $12.00??? Would that be cheap enough?
All ours needed was a new number dial on the top tension and a good cleaning and oiling.

I like the 328s. It may be a bit noisy but who cares. They are a tank and sew pretty nice. And no I don't have any right now. Use some T-F and it might quiet down. They can be put on a treadle pretty easily - nice a treadle with decorative stitches!
