    Looking for the attachments for a singer machine made in 1948.. was giving to me know attachments. where can I fine them...

    Make, model #, serial # maybe? Did machines made in 1948 have attachments?

    I found a lot of information I think you will enjoy. I did learn the 1948's did have attachments. That's a beginning.

    Machines made in 1948 had attachments, as did machines made in the 1800's. :)

    The model number will help, I'm watching ebay now for attachments for my treadles...and I need a buttonholer for my Kenmore! :)

    Its a desk model Black with gold trim.... The # AJ427790...The List I have state's AJ series 1948-1950...My mom had one that looks like this one and she had a box of Attachments with her machine... I would like to have a few attachments for this machine.,.

    I bought an old sewing basket complete with notions inside and included was a Kenmore buttonholer and I don't have a machine that could use it. PM me if you think this will fit your machine.

    That buttonholer might fit my Kenmore...but don't think it will fit a Singer?

    I just got a box full of Singer attachments today...will send you a PM.

    According to this list on the Singer website, your machine is a 201, made March 16, 1950.

    Suzanne57 That sewing Basket is beautiful... It's look's like it is in real good condition... Good for you.... The button hole maker will not fit my machine. Thank you anyway... Dee in Connecticut
