By the way, do you recommend waxing to protect the finish and decals? Or is there anything else to use? A friend recommended Rain Dance, but I didn't want to do anything without finding out more first.

Beautiful machine and decals! Love the red eye decals although I don't own any machines with that set.

If you use car wax, try in a small, inconspicuous spot first as a test. I have heard that any carnuaba (questionable spelling there) wax is good as long it is just the wax and not the cleaning/waxing compound stuff. I've never used it but have a couple of candidates to try it on later.
