Default Grieve and Walker treadle machine

Hello experts
I have searched this site, and checked the ISMACS website, but have had no luck finding information on my mother's treadle machine. Perhaps I am not very good at navigating the forum, so I apologize in advance if my search was incomplete. So far, I can only guess that her machine was an "our brand" machine made by another company for a mail order outfit, or perhaps it is of German origin. I thought I would share some photos with you to see if anyone knows of any identifying marks that could help me find information about the machine. Thanks in advance! Chip

It appears that Grieve and Walker was a dry goods store in Illinois. So I'm guessing that is who sold the machine that I believe would have actually been made by National. I cannot tell the difference between a Vindex 1 and Vindex 2, even though it says one is angular and the other rounded. I found images at http://needlebar.org/nbwiki/index.ph...uttle_Machines
