    Singer Green?

Is there such a thing as a green Singer small machine? I didn't take a picture. The other I found was a Singer JG 638873 with the gold decals, 1871 , for 180.00 , will post pics. a little later. Singer Red Eye for 105.00 in cabinet 1920. Also does anybody know anything about Franklin Treadles?

Yep, I got a 185 green machine too. My wife has it actually, she took it away from me. LOL.

The other prices seem to be a bit high to me, but then we're in different areas.

I have one also. Sews great... but very heavy to be so small!

I have one just like Deedum's also. Model 185K I believe. It's a nice little machine that I got via Craig's List for $25.

I have one also, paid $15.00 in cabinet at Salvation Army. Love it for piecing. In fact I keep it in my dining room with it open most of the time because I love the shape and color so much. Actually my favorite machine.

The one we have and the others I've seen in person are plastic. I've seen photos of one with a metal spool peg.

I too have this machine and love it....it has its own different sewing sound....and the color is a blast! I paid 25 at an antique store for it. Love the fact that my hobby is one of cheapest going although my DH would disagree and my kids call me the 'sewing freak'.
