I bit the bullet and bought one for close to $300, now they are selling for 700-900. It's a better investment than the Stock Market.

Bidding on the one at GW is a gamble as there is no guarantee that it is in "working condition". It is a big investment especially if there is a problem with it such as bent or piece missing - there is no recourse.

Could someone tell me what models the penguin would fit? I think I may have to look thru the bins at the local dealer...he may be sitting on a treasure.

It fits on the Featherweight, so it should fit on at least the 99, 15-xxx, and the 201-x machines.

Most people are pretty honest but if you're working at roughly minimum wage and you know you're packaging a small untraceable item worth several hundred dollars that you know will be passing through several other hands before it reaches it's destination I can see where someone might be tempted.
