Default Singer Penguin WF

I ran across an action on GW today. { http://www.shopgoodwill.com/auctions...-19826353.html } almost $300.00.
When I opened the auction I found it was for 4 button holers and a Penguin WF. If you've never seen one, check out the auction.

I've never seen one before, so Thank You for the heads up. People get a little crazy on some things. That is a ridiculous price and it still has over 8 days to go. WOW!

Saw one auction for $900 once. They are cute, but, not that cute.

From what I've seen them go for whenever I get the urge to check out an auction site or two, it's around the $800. I am ever so hopeful I will come across one at an estate or garage sale at a decent price.

I sold one on eBay that I found in a desk from a 319. It went for a nice amount and I was able to rationalize buying more vintage machines after that.

I'd love to get one, and just about the time I decided I'd be willing to for over the $400-$500 to get one, enough other people must have decided the same thing and now they've been selling for more than that.

It's one of hte few Singer fashion aids I still don't have. But I can wait - it's only for the collection and not any practical purpose!

Will watch this for fun. See where the price goes. Would be nice to have one, but I, too, am hoping to find one at a lower price.
