I have a Spartan - it has a base but no cover. And it's a hand crank - and I love it. Apparently they didn't co,e with any type of cover like other machines. I was thinking that sewing with a hand crank would be difficult - I'm not all that coordinated!! But it's really easy.

Were some lime electric and some hand crank or??? I remember parts of the Spartan story but sure would like a refresher if anyone on this list, can give one.

Thanks,
Sandy in Mooresville, NC

My Mother bought a nice Spartan for $10 and gave it to my daughter but she's too busy in her life right now to use it, so she graciously leaves it here for me to use when I travel !
