Actually the 128 is the 3/4 size version, Miriam. The 127 is full size. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singer_Model_27_and_127

Singer is very confusing about the numbering - drives me up the wall - a 66 and a 127 are full size - the 99, a 27 and a 128 are 3/4 - go figure. Does anybody have a 128?

Well right now it is an old beat up machine that needs first aid. Keep us all in the loop what you do to get it unstuck. I think you will be able to make that one run. Those are so simple.
