Default SUCCESS!!!! I am treading Mizz Zilla!

I wanted to start a new thread to do my Happy Dance! Today I felt Mizz Zilla was rolling as smoothly as needed and I got her treadle belt on. Oh she treadles so nicely! This forum is so wonderful with all my friends who stepped in and gave me encouragement, suggestions, their expertise, AND THEIR HUMOR (you know who you are ) I couldn't have done this without you so again my sincerest gratitude! I am showing my very first stitches with her.... It needs a bit of tweaking such as cleaning the hook area because I sense a hesitation and there is a bit of puckering on the underside of the sand which. But all in all, she is a beauty!

Thank goodness! I know there were others who were knowledgable and kept cool heads, but I was agonizing for you. (Not having any experience.). I, too, am greatful for these wonderful people who are so willing to help!

Yeah! I just read the other thread about her injury and repair. This board is awesome and I'm so glad that you got her running again.

Now, I'm curious...with what are you going to clean the hook area with? Not a hammer, I hope...LOL. Just kidding. I'm sure that you've learned and taught us all that lesson. I really felt for you. I've done so many, "dumber," things like that, it's not even funny. I'm relieved to see that there was no harm done.

hahaha! Love it Cindy....see that's the kind of humor we all need when we are struggling with a problem. But rest assured I have cleaned many a bobbin area.....soft cloth and oil if not too gummed up and a little kerosene if really bad. But this machine came to me very clean so I don't anticipate needing it.
