Default swapping cabinets

I want to put my Pfaff 130 in a cabinet that has the hardware in it for a 301 cradle. Is there any reason I can't do this? I just want to make sure the hardware on the front lip will be strong enough to support the heavier Pfaff.

Don't feel bad Pfaffie. I like sewing machines with some meat on their bones.

OK this was a bad start I can see. With two posts..one named "swapping cabinets" and one named "cabinet swap" I think you all are thinking it's a duplicate!

No answer?

Too bad you don't have an awesome cabinet like my Pfaff 130 came in. I love it! If only I had room in my house for it...If I move one day I need to have a large Bonus Room for my sewing treasures to be used.

Sheri, your cabinet is lovely! I am still keeping my eyes open for a Pfaff or Necchi cabinet-the smaller one but so far no luck! I went ahead and put the Pfaff in this cabinet for now but I do have worries about it crashing to the floor. I just time will tell.
