Smile things I bought yesterday

I got Betsy Ross, but she is outside waiting for a bath. Even if she never works she is still cute.
the manual I also got yesterday from a different place.

Cool finds! Betsy looks like a good contender for "Most Grimy". Please post some before and after pictures of her.

Great manuals! I'm starting to develop a fondness for the vintage books and patterns I see along with the machines and attachments. Maybe it's the artwork.

Rodney I am with you. I don't know why I like them I just do. A few wks ago I bought a large stack of quilting magazines dating to the mid 70s'. I just wanted to look at them. Patterns in everyone, stories, and pictures.

I buy the old quilting magazines too-mainly for the patterns and ideas. Most of the patterns are geared toward templates and scissors but they also show applique and quilting patterns and those are useful too.
