You can get manuals, parts guides, etc., for many different Singer models at this web site. Scroll down to 457 and go from there. Hope this helps.

Boy that machine brings back memories!!!!!!. My parents bought me a used Stylist for my 8th grade graduation many moons ago. I loved that machine, it was the perfect basic machine. Back then, I don't even think machine embroidery was invented!!!!!!!!!!

I had one just like this! I gave it away years ago. I don't think the girl will still have it, but I can find out. I know I gave her a manuel. OOO! I just looked in my sewing cabinet and I have a copy of it! I can't believe I held onto it! I can send it to you. PM me with your Address. Do you need me to take a picture of it and post it here?T The booklet says, Instructions Stylist zig-zag sewing Machine/model 457 Singer. copyright 1969. My daughter used this machine before I gave it away. I made a copy of the manuel incase she lost the original or trashed it.

I got mine at a garage sale for 5$ it is a little newer but still only dose a few stiches. I love it because it will sew streach knit and some of the newer ones won't.great find hope you are as happy with your's as I am with this one:)
