It was news to me but dh heard it when watching the local news. I'm blaming it on Halloween being on a Saturday. After having it change before Halloween for most of my life, I make it a point to remember it now changes AFTER Halloween. I thought it wouldn't change for one more week. to the sun setting around 4:30.

I too was in "limbo". I kept wondering what day the time was supposed to change, heard nothing, read nothing on it. Then yesterday, my bedroom clock said one hour earlier than the two in the kitchen, so I figured, this must be it, the big time change day has occurred without any bells or whistles. Thank goodness for one clock that self-adjusts.

I moved to Indiana so that I would not have to deal with this time thing. I always want to know What time is it really? and no one will ever tell me....other than it is time to get a watch. Then we had a gov. that made us change. I totally hate it, but you are right, I did not hear a lot about changing until I looked it up......there is a Purple Martin blog???????

Definitely would rather not have the daylight saving time and old enough to remember when it did not exist.

Same here never heard a word about it. I have the TV guide book marked and thought they had a major typo--the times at the top went 1 - 1:30 - then back to 1 - 1:30 - etc Still never dawned on me. For now if I need the correct time I'll check the computer or phone.
